The Activity Assistant plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents. With warmth, patience, and genuine care, they help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
- Supportively connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to support residents holistically.
- Balance daily schedules, manage multiple residents, and prepare for activities.
Requirements
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers, and staff.
- Hold a high school diploma or GED, or have one to three months' related experience and/or training.
- Successfully complete a State-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months’ related experience and/or training.
- Successful completion of a State-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State.
