Activities Assistant

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate, high-energy Activities Assistant to join our clinical team and bring joy, engagement, and meaningful experiences to our residents daily. As an Activities Assistant, you will work alongside our Activities Director to design, plan, and run diverse wellness and recreation programs. Your creativity will directly support individual and group therapeutic programs tailored to residents' physical and psychosocial needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead group and one-on-one recreational events daily.
- Encourage resident participation in games, music, arts, and crafts.
- Maintain accurate daily attendance logs and progress notes.
- Safely transport residents to and from activity areas.
- Keep activity spaces clean, organized, and secure.
- Assist with occasional receptionist and phone duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Experience in senior care, skilled nursing, or memory care preferred.
- Excellent communication, patient demeanor, and a positive attitude.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on your feet.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including some weekends or holidays.

Pay
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
