If you’re creative, energetic, compassionate, and enjoy working with people, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact. 🏥 Position Summary Under the direction of the Activities Director, the Activities Assistant helps prepare, organize, and conduct daily activity programs that support the emotional, recreational, social, and spiritual well-being of residents. This role plays an important part in creating a positive, engaging, and home-like environment for residents. 🎯 What You'll Do Assist with preparing and conducting scheduled group activitiesTransport residents to and from activitiesProvide activities and engagement for room-bound residentsRecord resident participation and responses to activitiesAssist residents with grooming and participation as neededDeliver and read mail to residents requiring assistanceAssist with menu selections where applicableSupport volunteer programs and community involvementHelp create activity calendars, bulletin boards, and resident room personalizationCommunicate resident concerns or condition changes to appropriate staffPromote resident dignity, privacy, and respect at all times 🎓 What We’re Looking For Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferredCreative and enthusiastic personalityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic computer and keyboarding skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude with patience and compassionMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to speak, read, write, and understand English 🌟 Why Join Us?
