Activities Assistant
Location: Nature Trail Health and Rehab, Mount Vernon, IL. Part-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities
- Provide activities focused on entertainment, exercise, relaxation, and social engagement for residents
- Support the planning, scheduling, and implementation of quality activities based on resident care plans
- Assist with preparing and distributing activity calendars and communication materials
- Maintain documentation of resident participation and activities
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families
- Encourage participation and create enthusiasm during activities and events
- Support special events, group activities, and recreational programming
- Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- One year of related experience preferred, especially in long-term care
- Creative, motivated, and organized team player
- Passion for working with seniors and encouraging resident participation
- Reliable professional with strong attendance and communication skills
- Compassionate and enthusiastic about providing genuine hometown care
- Positive attitude and willingness to support residents and teammates
