Activities Assistant

Location: Lake Worth Beach, Florida Organization: Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center $17.00/hour About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a lively and engaging environment for our residents. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by planning and implementing a variety of recreational and social activities, promoting their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of activities, including arts, crafts, music, exercise, and games, to promote resident engagement and socialization Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity calendars and programs Assist with the planning and coordination of special events, such as theme parties, holiday celebrations, and resident outings Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure resident satisfaction and well-being Maintain accurate records and reports of resident participation and activity evaluations Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives to enhance the quality of life for our residents About the Organization: At Terraces of Lake Worth Care Center, we are dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest.
