About the role
As the Activities Assistant, you will work side-by-side with the Activities Director to plan and execute ongoing programming of Activities in our Skilled Nursing Facility. You may also conduct one-on-one activities with our residents that require more individualized attention. Documentation of activities and all participation is included in this position.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Activities Director to plan and execute ongoing programming of Activities in the Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Conduct one-on-one activities with residents requiring more individualized attention.
- Document all activities and participation.
Qualifications
- Experience working in Activities / Recreational Therapy in a healthcare setting.
- Experience working with the elderly population.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
