Activities Assistant

About the role

As the Activities Assistant, you will work side-by-side with the Activities Director to plan and execute ongoing programming of Activities in our Skilled Nursing Facility. You may also conduct one-on-one activities with our residents that require more individualized attention. Documentation of activities and all participation is included in this position.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Activities Director to plan and execute ongoing programming of Activities in the Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Conduct one-on-one activities with residents requiring more individualized attention.
• Document all activities and participation.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Activities / Recreational Therapy in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with the elderly population.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
