We’re Hiring: Activities Assistant – Skilled Nursing Facility Lawrenceville, VA | Full Time Are you creative, energetic, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors? We’re looking for an Activities Assistant to join our team at Lawrenceville Health and Rehab, where you’ll play a key role in bringing joy, engagement, and meaningful experiences to our residents. What You’ll Do: Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily recreational activities and special eventsEncourage resident participation and adapt activities to meet their individual needsHelp promote social interaction, creativity, and physical well-beingProvide support in transporting residents to and from activitiesWork collaboratively with the Activities Director and care team to create a positive environment What We’re Looking For: Friendly, outgoing personality with great communication skillsAbility to motivate and engage residents in a variety of activitiesCompassionate and patient approach to working with seniorsPrior experience in recreation, activities, or a skilled nursing/long-term care setting is a plus (but not required!)
