Activities Assistant

Responsibilities

• Engage and build relationships with senior residents
• Plan and lead a variety of activities, including:
• Games, concerts, and exercise classes
• Arts & crafts and bingo
• Holiday and special event decorating
• Field trips, lunch and dinner outings
• Absorb and create flyers, calendars, and activity materials
• Bring creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to every day

Requirements

• Associate degree preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in activities, social services, recreational therapy, or a healthcare setting
• Background in music, art, or drama is a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Genuine passion for working with seniors

Pay

$14–$18 per hour based on experience

Schedule

• Weekday: 8:30a - 4p
• Weekends: 9:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (additional shifts available as needed)
