Activities Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to join our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will plan and lead engaging activities that reflect each resident's individual interests.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging activities, projects, and games that cater to each resident’s interests.
• Facilitate one-on-one, small group, and large group activities in a positive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting or coursework in recreation therapy is a plus.
• Previous experience with a geriatric population is preferred.
