About the role
We are searching for a PRN Activities Assistant to join our resident- and family-focused community. The primary purpose of this position is to deliver the established plan for resident activities and recreation, fostering a vibrant facility culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist with resident activities, assessments, and activity profiles.
- Help schedule movies, plan parties, and provide games and activities for residents.
- Encourage resident participation in recreational and social activities by organizing games, crafts, religious services, parties, and other events.
- Assist the Community Life Director in expanding services.
- Contribute innovative ideas and concepts to continually improve systems and processes for superior healthcare outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in providing recreation services to residents in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Current, unencumbered, valid state driver’s license.
