Activities Assistant

Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to join our creative and passionate recreation team.

About the role

You will assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the recreation department to ensure an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and well-being of each resident.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate and run events and activities programming
• Build relationships with residents and learn about their interests to tailor programming to their desires
• Organize group and individual programming
• Generate ideas that will excite and encourage residents to participate in programming
• Encourage residents to take part in activities that will stimulate their potential, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually
• Assist with and follow through on the establishment of resident care goals within the framework of the entire therapeutic team
• Document and report any unusual or significant findings
• Report all reportable events immediately

Pay

$16 an hour, paid weekly.
