Activities Assistant

About the Role

As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a fulfilling and engaging experience for our residents, while maintaining their independence, choice, and dignity.

• Create and coordinate daily events, such as games, arts and crafts, and other recreational activities.
• Transport residents to and from activities.
• Log activities notes related to resident participation.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging activities experience.
• Communicate with participants, employees, and volunteers to ensure a seamless experience.
• Manage logistics and operations to ensure the smooth execution of events.
• Lift the spirits of our residents and ensure they enjoy their time at our community.

Requirements

• High school diploma (certain certifications may be required).
• Experience with nursing, recreational activities, event planning, or related fields may be preferred.
• Job training and first aid/CPR training may be necessary.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
