Activities Aide
Job Responsibilities
- Caring for the residents by showing passion for planning fun activities.
- Helping with and participating in fun and engaging activities.
Requirements
- Build trusting, professional relationships with patients, families, caregivers and referral sources.
- Show professional demeanor in facilitating activities as scheduled on the calendar.
- Engage with residents in small group activities.
- Absorb individual resident interests.
- Be willing to assist residents with their personal preferences for daily activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to conduct meaningful resident engagement.
- Be interested in providing one-on-one time with residents.
- Aide with documentation of assessments, participation records, and other information as required by department leader.
Preferred Areas of Experience
- Nursing Home Activities experience.
- State Tested Nursing Assistant (preferred, not required).

Pay
