Activewear Merchandising Specialist - Campus Location

Job Overview

The Winston Retail is seeking a Visual Merchandiser & Selling Specialist for the Georgia Tech Campus Location. This role is a contractor position with a pay range of $19-$22 per hour, based on market and relevant experience. The expected hours are weekends and flexible weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Execute visual merchandising standards and maintain impactful activewear and fan apparel displays
• Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales through product knowledge and styling recommendations
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift

Skills

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred
• High-energy team player with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling)
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays
