Active Trader Relationship Manager
About the role
The Active Trader Relationship Manager (ATRM) will be responsible for the retention and growth of ETRADE's Active Trader client segment. ATRMs will focus on deepening relationships through frequent and proactive outreach tailored to clients' unique trading needs, goals, and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service while cultivating relationships with E*TRADE active trader clients.
- Provide comprehensive support including product education, trade facilitation, platform demos, and connecting E*TRADE clients with the full suite of Morgan Stanley products and services.
- Utilize deep technical knowledge of futures, margin, and contract trading, along with strong technical market analysis skills.
- Making proactive outreach to make clients aware of open margin calls, ITM options on the day of expiration, and quarterly relationship development calls.
- Growing the Active Trader client segment by uncovering outside assets and overseeing the onboarding journey.
- Exhibiting critical thinking/problem-solving skills to address client issues and questions.
- Acting as a liaison between internal support teams to ensure our client’s service needs are met timely.
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of all ETRADE & Morgan Stanley products/services and being responsible for identifying opportunities to maximize all aspects of the firm.
- Focusing on the bottom-line performance and constantly looking for ways to improve overall performance, sales, customer satisfaction, and the entire customer experience.
- Mitigating risk by strict adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure a secure and compliant work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of client service experience.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or equivalent), and ability to be registered in all states and territories.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of supporting high net worth or active trader clients in a brokerage or financial services environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Able to remain calm, professional, and in control in a fast-paced business environment.
- Dedicated to exceeding the expectations of clients, having a passion to excel, and outstanding oral/written communication skills.
- Utilize independent decision-making skills to manage and resolve issues.
Benefits
Salary range for the position: $85,000.00 and $110,000.00 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
