About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Active Directory (AD) Architect / Cloud Identity & Security Architect.
Key Responsibilities
- Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security (CIAA: Confidentiality, Integrity, Authorization, Accountability) implementation.
- Windows Server vulnerability remediation, patching, and secure compliance implementation.
- Domain Controller and DC schema updates from Windows Server 2019/2022 to 2025, including replication and troubleshooting.
- Management of Flexible Single Master Operations (FSMO) roles.
- Windows Event Auditing and forwarding audit events to centralized logging.
- DNS record management: adding reverse zones, PTR records, and managing SOA, NS, A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV records.
- Group Policy Object (GPO) management.
- PKI/Certificates management, SSL cipher suite configuration associated with AD, and LDAPS configuration.
- TCP/IP and basic networking (TCP/UDP) with experience on ports used by Microsoft Active Directory.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP), including virtual machine provisioning and troubleshooting within cloud environments.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong background in IAM and security best practices.
- Extensive experience with Windows Server security, patching, and compliance.
- Proficiency in Active Directory schema updates, replication, and FSMO role management.
- Expertise in Windows Event Auditing and centralized log forwarding.
- Deep knowledge of DNS architecture and record types (reverse zones, PTR, SOA, NS, A, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV).
- Hands‑on experience with GPO design, implementation, and maintenance.
- PKI, certificate lifecycle management, SSL/TLS cipher suite tuning, and LDAPS configuration.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networking fundamentals, and relevant port usage for AD services.
- Practical experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and troubleshooting virtual machines in those environments.
