Now Hiring: Activities Assistant Position: Activities Assistant Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM Schedule Rotation: 4 Days On / 2 Days Off Join Our Activities Team! We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activities Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors and is passionate about creating meaningful, engaging, and enjoyable experiences for residents. Responsibilities Assist with planning and facilitating daily activities and recreational programsEncourage resident participation in individual and group activitiesOrganize games, arts and crafts, music, social events, and other recreational programsAssist with special events, celebrations, and holiday programsInteract with residents in a friendly, respectful, and supportive mannerEncourage socialization and engagement among residentsAssist residents with participating in activities as neededMaintain activity supplies and keep activity areas organizedDocument resident participation and provide feedback to the Activities DirectorFollow facility policies and promote resident safety and dignity Qualifications Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting preferredPrevious activities or recreational experience is a plusCreative, enthusiastic, and compassionate personalityStrong communication and interpersonal skillsDependable and able to work a 4-on/2-off scheduleAbility to work independently and as part of a team Schedule & Compensation Full-Time | 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM | 4 Days On / 2 Days Off | $18.00/hour If you enjoy making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and creating an engaging environment for residents, we would love to have you join our team!
