About the role
The Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist provides counseling rehabilitation services through an aggressive Assertive Community Treatment Team outreach approach in the consumer's community. The position is part of a comprehensive team comprised of a Psychiatrist/PA, Mental Health Nurses, Therapists, Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Housing Specialist and Certified Peer Specialist. Due to the intensity of the program, some nights, weekends and holidays are required. A valid driver's license is required as you will be visiting the members in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Counseling rehabilitation services through an Assertive Community Treatment Team outreach approach
- Part of a comprehensive team including Psychiatrist/PA, Mental Health Nurses, Therapists, Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Housing Specialist and Certified Peer Specialist
- Visiting members in their homes
- Required to work some nights, weekends and holidays
- Valid driver's license required
Requirements
- Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation counseling, or other related field from an accredited college or university
- Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling preferred
Qualifications
- FBI Clearance
- PA Criminal Clearance

Pay
$42,000.00 per year
Schedule
- 8 hour shift
- Alternating shifts: Day shift (8:30am-5:00pm), Second Shift (12:00pm-8:30pm)
- Monday to Friday and occasional weekends
Additional Information
This position requires the successful completion of an FBI Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance.
