ACT Team Vocational Specialist

About the role

The Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist provides counseling rehabilitation services through an aggressive Assertive Community Treatment Team outreach approach in the consumer's community. The position is part of a comprehensive team comprised of a Psychiatrist/PA, Mental Health Nurses, Therapists, Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Housing Specialist and Certified Peer Specialist. Due to the intensity of the program, some nights, weekends and holidays are required. A valid driver's license is required as you will be visiting the members in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Counseling rehabilitation services through an Assertive Community Treatment Team outreach approach
• Part of a comprehensive team including Psychiatrist/PA, Mental Health Nurses, Therapists, Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Housing Specialist and Certified Peer Specialist
• Visiting members in their homes
• Required to work some nights, weekends and holidays
• Valid driver's license required

Requirements

• Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation counseling, or other related field from an accredited college or university
• Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling preferred

Pay

$42,000.00 per year

Schedule

• 8 hour shift
• Alternating shifts: Day shift (8:30am-5:00pm), Second Shift (12:00pm-8:30pm)
• Monday to Friday and occasional weekends

This position requires the successful completion of an FBI Clearance, PA Criminal Clearance and Child Abuse Clearance.
