Major Responsibilities
- Counsels and coaches team members
- Assists with hiring, training, and evaluating staff
- Schedules and distributes staff workload
- Maintains and monitors regulatory compliance and documentation
- Oversees medical record maintenance
- Ensures 24/7 crisis intervention availability
- Develops and maintains staff scheduling systems
- Ensures operational efficiency of the program
- Maintains census levels for financial viability
- Ensures proper use of program funds
Job Qualifications and Competencies
- Holds a clinical license such as LPC, LCSW, LISW, RN, MD
- Graduate degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Education, or a related human services field
- OR graduate degree in human services plus relevant experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct care experience with adults in mental health, intellectual/disabled, substance abuse, juvenile justice, health care, vocational rehabilitation or similar programs
- Includes at least two (2) years of community-based treatment experience
- Includes clinical competency in assessing clients, developing treatment plans, and managing ongoing care
- Leadership and supervision skills, including coaching, counseling, and performance management
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and ability to ensure compliance and proper documentation
- Program and operational management, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination
- Financial management skills, including expense monitoring and maintaining program viability
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, clients, and external providers
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to support clinical and operational needs
- Commitment to organizational values and professional standards
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Maintains and abides by OSHA requirements and guidelines
- Observes all Fire and Safety Policies and Procedures
- Observes all Fiscal/Office/ HR Personnel Policies and Procedures
- Observes all HIPAA Policies and Procedures and maintains confidentiality
- Attends all required and scheduled trainings and meetings
- Always maintain a professional demeanor and exercise good judgement in all areas of employment duties
- Vehicle requirements: current driver’s license, driver registration, and a functional vehicle
- EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS: telephone (cellular - multi-line, calculator, copier, fax, computer)
- COMPUTER SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS: knowledge of each program, knowledge of Office software programs
- Individual must be able to meet physical requirements of the job: sitting at a meeting table or desk, lifting – 50lbs or more
- Environment(s) is modern, well-lit office facilities in multiple locations, multiple levels of stairs with access by elevator
