Acrylics Fabrication and Picture Frame Fine Metalworker (Multiple Openings)

About the role

A small, family-owned manufacturer based in Greenfield, MA, SmallCorp is seeking individuals for positions in acrylics fabrication, metal picture frame finishing, and material handling. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate proficiency in fine metal working, TIG welding, plastics polishing, panel and beam saw operation, and hand and power tool operation.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend shop drawings and written and verbal instructions.
• Ensure quality standards are met consistently.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed.
• Work irregular hours, including occasional overtime.

Requirements

• Able to read a tape measure to a 1/32.
• Strong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Good visual acuity for close-up work, color perception, and adjusting focus.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Pre-employment physical examination.
• Reliable transportation.

Pay

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule

Hours are from 6am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday, with occasional opportunity for overtime.
