About the Role
We are seeking a skilled, reliable Lead Bathroom Installer with experience in installing acrylic systems. In this role, you will execute high-quality residential bathroom remodels—many completed in 1–2 days—demanding strict adherence to precision and efficiency. Compensation is a percentage of the contract sales price per job installed.
Responsibilities
- Secure and transport project materials from the warehouse to the site; review job packets and inspect delivered materials for accuracy before beginning.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; protect the customer’s property using boot covers, drop cloths, and plastic.
- Lead the flawless installation of premium 3-piece acrylic wall systems, shower pans, tubs, and custom tile; perform associated carpentry, trim work, and basic plumbing tasks.
- Safely and effectively utilize hand and power tools; maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment adhering to all safety protocols and local building codes.
- Meticulously review completed work for quality; demonstrate product functionality, care, and maintenance to the homeowner.
- Complete all job documentation (photos/paperwork) and collect final payments.
- Install acrylic bath and shower systems, wall surrounds, tile surrounds, custom tile flooring, and related fixtures efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Perform custom tile setting, backer board installation, grouting, sealing, and waterproofing for wet-area applications.
- Complete demolition, plumbing modifications, light carpentry, and subfloor prep work for tub/shower conversions and full bathroom remodels.
- Ensure precise measurements, level layouts, and seamless workmanship on every job site.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners to explain project steps and deliver outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of verifiable experience in residential bathroom remodeling, finish carpentry, or home improvement; experience with tub-to-shower and general conversions is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in bathroom remodeling, tile setting, acrylic system installation, or general carpentry/plumbing.
- Proficiency in tile cutting, layout, setting, and grouting techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100 lbs) and work independently or with an install team.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must own and operate a full-size truck, van, or sprinter.
- Required licenses and insurance; must be able to pass a background check.
- Must provide photos of prior projects during the interview process.
