Acquisitions & Investment Mgmt - 2028 Summer Analyst

About the role

Morgan Properties is seeking a Summer Analyst to join the Acquisitions and Capital Markets team for the Summer of 2028. The Summer Analyst will shadow members of the investment team in their daily work, attend weekly pipeline meetings, and assist in evaluating new investment opportunities and managing current assets under management. Interns are paired with mentors who provide coaching and feedback to help develop investing skills through every stage of the investment cycle. The internship concludes with a final project in which interns evaluate an investment opportunity individually and present to the Investment Committee. This internship offers an opportunity for a strong candidate to gain immediate deal experience and exposure to a world-class network of investment professionals.

Eligibility: Undergraduate students graduating between May 2029 and December 2029.

Responsibilities

• Play a key supporting role in analyzing new investment opportunities
• Conduct a range of quantitative and qualitative analyses (e.g., market analyses, financial modeling, real estate valuations, etc.)
• Analyze and monitor the performance of existing investments
• Assist with the preparation of investment proposals and presentations

Qualifications

• Strong GPA from a top-tier university (preferably a business major with an emphasis in finance or real estate)
• Keen interest in real estate
• Outstanding quantitative skills, including advanced Excel skills
• Financial modeling, finance, and accounting skills, with superior attention to detail
• Results-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong work ethic
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively, independently, and professionally in a world-class investment organization
• Undergraduate student with an anticipated graduation date of 2029

Pay

Hourly rate: $25/hr. If hired, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience, which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
