Acquisition Strategy and Documentation Principal

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead program manager for the Comply-to-Connect (C2C) initiative, driving a critical cybersecurity capability directly tied to the Department of the Air Force's (DAF) Zero Trust goals.
  • Manage intense leadership oversight and high visibility, which includes preparing and delivering monthly status briefings directly to the Program Executive Officer (PEO).
  • Lead rapid program startup and kickoff activities immediately following the contract award scheduled for late summer.
  • Maintain tight coordination with the vendor to accelerate timelines, meet aggressive delivery schedules, and keep deployment on track.
  • Master the technical landscape quickly to understand how C2C integrates with existing infrastructure and security frameworks.
  • Brief senior leaders on complex technical concepts using clear, high-level, and highly effective communication.

Qualifications

  • 20+ years experience in acquisitions including at least 10 years experience support DoD programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience identifying acquisition strategy issues and proposing alternative solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with strategic level issues and ability to work independently as well as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Possesses proven leadership, team building, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
  • Experience with an ACAT I level program, including development of new programs with the Acquisition community.
  • Experience in the development of RFP documentation and support of Acquisition Strategy reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in packaging and presenting briefings for senior level reviews.
  • Experience initiating and managing high visibility programs.
  • Program control and Program Execution Group experience highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to work proactively, with minimal supervision, and effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
  • Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $155,700-$170,100.
