Position Overview

As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be generating new business opportunities, developing relationships with prospective customers, and growing the agency through consultative sales conversations. You will work with leads, referrals, and outbound prospecting efforts to uncover customer needs and recommend personalized insurance solutions.

Success in this role is measured by activity, production, and the ability to consistently build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, lead follow-up, networking, and community outreach
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to identify coverage needs and protection gaps
  • Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers
  • Follow up proactively to convert opportunities into new business
  • Track activity, production, and sales results to meet or exceed established goals
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
  • Collaborate with team members to support agency growth initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with agency procedures and insurance regulations

Qualifications

  • Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the business
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented
  • Organized with strong follow-up and time-management abilities
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Previous sales, insurance, marketing, business development, or customer-facing experience preferred

About the Role

This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses. Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start (full support provided), and Life & Health license must be obtained within 45 days of your start date (we provide licensing guidance, study resources, and onboarding support throughout the process).
