Acquisition Program Specialist, Journeyman
Responsibilities
- Support Government Program Managers with acquisition planning, program execution, risk management, and contract administration activities in accordance with DoD and Air Force acquisition guidance.
- Maintain acquisition and contract documentation, including contract modifications, funding profiles, CLIN tracking, schedules, technical data, and program records.
- Support configuration management activities, including Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), engineering change actions, technical baseline management, and Technical Data Package (TDP) tracking.
- Aid with financial management activities including budget tracking, obligation and expenditure forecasting, funds management, and program reporting.
- Support the development of acquisition documentation, source selection activities, requirements documentation, and other program management products.
- Prepare reports, briefings, decision-support materials, and executive-level presentations for Government leadership and stakeholders.
- Cook with Government, contractor, and cross-functional teams to support program objectives and resolve programmatic issues.
Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements
- Must be a US citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance required.
- Education and experience requirements must meet one of the following:
- Associate's degree and 10 years of relevant experience;
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience;
- Master's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience supporting DoD acquisition, program management, logistics, engineering, financial management, or related Government programs.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DoD 5000 series guidance, and Air Force acquisition processes.
- Experience supporting contract management, configuration management, financial analysis, technical data management, or acquisition documentation activities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and briefing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
