About the role

MLT is seeking Junior, Mid, and Senior-level Acquisition/Program Analysts to support Program Manager Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE). This role provides analytical support across engineering, science, business, financial, cost, or program management disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical support in disciplines such as analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics, program management, cost, financial, or management analysis, or maintenance of systems, processes, programs, offices, or products.
  • Develop and/or review acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Coordinate activities to facilitate successful programmatic decision events, milestone reviews, and program assessments.
  • Conduct risk identification, develop risk mitigation strategies, and report and track risks in accordance with the program’s Risk Management Plan.
  • Support risk management efforts by addressing action items; preparing agendas, presentation materials, and meeting minutes; participating in risk management working groups; and populating data in the program’s risk tracking database.
  • Perform detailed schedule analysis, including critical path evaluation and schedule risk assessment, to develop, deliver, and maintain comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Develop and deliver IMS Reports, including 30/60/90 Outlooks, Variance Reports, Past-Due Reports, and Milestone snapshots.
  • Provide technical input and administrative support for developing audience-appropriate briefs and presentation materials, including meeting coordination and participation.
  • Update program Fact Books to incorporate new or updated program and system information.
  • Develop, update, and maintain the Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center classified SharePoint site.
  • Manage, review, and update program information in government data repositories and management tools, including posting approved documentation, supporting workflow reviews, extracting data, and generating reports.
  • Draft Automated Message Handling System Naval Messages and correspondence.
  • Develop and submit Trip Reports for attended events where travel is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience levels:
    • Junior-level: 0-2 years.
    • Mid-level: 3-6 years.
    • Senior-level: 7-9 years.
  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and Marine Corps policies related to complex acquisition analysis and planning, including DoD Instruction 5000.02, Adaptive Acquisition Framework, and the Marine Corps Systems Command Acquisition Guidebook.
  • Familiarity with Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAP), Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs, Middle Tier Acquisitions (MTA), and Other Transaction Authority (OTA).
  • Proficiency using data repositories and management tools, such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams, to extract, update, and report program data.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear.
  • Use of hands and arms for routine work tasks.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 30 pounds.
  • Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
