About the role

BAE Systems is hiring a manager to oversee the operations for both the Acquisition & Integrated Logistics Support (A&ILS) departments as we continue to provide outstanding support for the AEGIS Technical Representative (TECHREP) Program. The role involves managing a team that provides on-site direction, oversight, and support for AEGIS TECHREP acquisition and production core functions.

Responsibilities

  • Witness equipment integration tests including Factory Acceptance test (FAT), reviews classified test data and test results
  • Maintains production schedules, monitors delays, recovery plans, and corrective actions
  • Manages all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) during installation, test, pack, and ship operations
  • Conducts technical assessments, supplier identification, acquisition management, and technical evaluation of vendor fabrication, assembly, test, and acceptance processes
  • Participates in AEGIS TECHREP production Program Performance Assessments Reviews (PAR)
  • Attends, participates, and supports meetings with and for our Customers, contractors
  • Provides GFE Support to Production Surveillance and Production Test Center (PTC)
  • Supports urgent CASREP Support to the Fleet
  • Provides Site and Fleet Support for parts research, MILSTRIP, parts support, and ad hoc inquiries
  • Supports Shipyard Support during Installation and Checkout (AEGIS Light Off) and during Sea Trial
  • Provides Logistic Support to our FMS Allies
  • Verifies, validates, and releases AGILE 'Operations and Maintenance' Technical Documentation
  • Supports CSEDS Site Engineering to Ensure Operational Availability of the labs for testing inclusive of facilities management and configuration management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years’ supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with DoD/DON programs, Industry or Government technical management, and Industry or Government business management
  • Proven experience with the AEGIS Program in Production and/or Logistics
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret DoD security clearance
  • Experience with resource allocation processes
  • Experience engaging with clients to capture and prioritize business needs
  • Experience with reporting and tracking requirements
  • Experience managing personnel
  • Experience presenting material to senior division and program leadership and other government officials
  • Experience analyzing business process or SOP documentation to identify areas of improvement and efficiency
  • Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-motivated team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (BS/BA) in a related engineering or logistics field
  • Minimum 20 years of experience of in-depth specialized knowledge in the related field

Pay

Pay Information: Full-Time Salary Range: $134640 - $228888. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
