Acoustics Senior Consultant – Denver, CO: Hybrid Role

Position Overview

Shen Milsom & Wilke is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant with 8 to 15 years of relevant experience to join our Denver, Colorado office.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-profile projects
• Conduct field measurements
• Develop acoustic computer models
• Provide consulting to optimize acoustic performance and reduce noise and vibration
• Manage all aspects of assigned projects
• Collaborate with the project team from beginning to end
• Interact with vendors to facilitate design details for the project team
• Collect and analyze noise and vibration data
• Perform calculations and site surveys/construction administration punch-lists

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, architectural acoustics, physics, audio technology, or a similar degree with coursework in architectural acoustics
• 8+ years’ experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in developing relationships with staff and clients
• Client focus, with a commitment to quality and problem-solving
• Functional knowledge of the Bluebeam PDF software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite/Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
• Project Management Certification is a plus
