ACMA 2PM to 10PM M-F

Southern Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an energetic Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) to join our team in Tulsa, OK.

About the role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide residents with routine daily nursing care delivered in a compassionate manner and in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and philosophies, as directed by supervisors. As an ACMA, you will ensure all residents receive their medication in a timely and orderly manner, maintain proper documentation, and handle pharmacy orders. We are a team-driven facility, so you will be expected to assist wherever needed, and your team will do the same for you.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration
• Order medications from the pharmacy as needed
• Provide routine daily nursing care to residents
• Assist team members with additional tasks as required

Requirements

• Ability to bend, walk, stand, lift, carry, push, and handle equipment, supplies, or patients exceeding 50 pounds
• Ability to function independently and adapt to flexible scheduling, including rotating weekends
• Personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, employees, and support agencies

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) certification
• Current BLS CPR certification (must be obtained if not already held)
