The Intern will gain exposure to specimen processing and laboratory assistant tasks and responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the direction of a licensed Medical technologist or more senior individual, the technologist in training can read policies and procedures.Shadow Medical TechnologistsHands on sample managementParticipate in validation of instrumentsInventory and stock management responsibilities of the labAdditional non technical Duties and Responsibilities as assigned REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSStudent Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in life science preferred For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements. PAY RANGE:$19.00 - $19.00 CITY:Rochester POSTAL CODE:14624 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
