Your Responsibilities and Requirements

• Possess a friendly outgoing demeanor, work well with customers as well as associates.
• Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously, and effectively.
• Forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.
• Aid in receiving, checking in, and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.
• Aid in daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area.
• Aid in maintaining a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise.
• Aid in merchandise resets through the store.
• Possible key holder duties.
• All other duties within the store as trained and directed by the store manager or upper management.

What you’ll need

• Education/Training: High School degree, some college preferred.
• Previous experience in a retail environment either in sales or merchandising roles.
• Possess product knowledge of hardware-related and/or plumbing products along with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekday and weekend shifts to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to travel to other store locations if needed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 40 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders.
