Job Summary
Sentara Health is hiring for an Accreditation and Regulatory Consultant- Hospital and Home Health!
Location
Will report daily at 1330 Sentara Park in Virginia Beach, VA.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops and implements processes to support system-wide ongoing compliance with Accreditation/regulatory agencies and standards.
- Provides consultation to all divisions regarding accreditation and regulatory affairs and compliance.
- System resource in accreditation & regulatory requirements & development of policies and procedures.
- Advisement on the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Shares knowledge of processes to meet compliance with identified accreditation/regulatory standards.
- Researches and obtains interpretation of standards compliance requirements.
- Assists with the development of processes to support ongoing service readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field REQUIRED.
- A minimum of 3 years recent accreditation & regulatory experience REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards and clinical process improvement concepts is REQUIRED.
- Clinical experience in a hospital or home health/hospice setting preferred.
