Accreditation and Regulatory Associate

Supports various activities that ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements. Performs data management functions for continuous survey readiness, including real-time observations in clinical settings, feedback to front-line staff, data collection, chart reviews, data entry, data integrity maintenance, validation, and basic data analysis. Assists the Accreditation and Regulatory Department with data requests, dissemination, implementation, and evaluation of performance improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Supports initiatives to maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Interacts courteously and professionally, demonstrating conflict resolution skills.
• Actively participates in hospital survey readiness activities.
• Validates and monitors post-survey action plans.
• Enters data into systems for analysis and trending.
• Shares and presents data to internal audiences.
• Provides real-time coaching on observed compliance opportunities.
• Demonstrates collaborative working relationships under the direction of the Accreditation and Regulatory Compliance manager and/or director.
• Participates in accreditation and regulatory-related educational offerings.
• Speaks and trains groups of employees.
• Provides technical policy support.
• Performs the professional, clinical, and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 or more years of healthcare experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Proficient in MS Office.
