Job Responsibilities
- Process/post AR from all assigned payers within the expected Turnaround Time
- Post AR and electronic remittance from private and government payers into the billing system
- Research payer websites to obtain posting backup
- Post electronic reports, macros and tools to balance files with money received
- Identify issues and trends with assigned payers
- Ensure aged accounts receivable is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure
- Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of remittance
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year or more accounts receivable experience
Qualifications
- Preferred: 1 year or more health insurance, medical claims, explanation of benefits, cash posting and billing experience
Additional Job Standards
- Meet weekly and monthly production goals after training
- Maintain Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency
- Manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity
- Show strong communication skills
- Have work-from-home or in-office experience
Pay
$17.75 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (EST)

About the Role
This position is responsible for the specialized processing of accounts receivable transactions in the functional area Specimen Review Operations. Responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to processing a high volume of transfers, adjustments/refunds, research, and communications while maintaining department standards and quality expectations. Supports inventories and reports variances of possible concern. Follows department standard operating procedures for all processes. Duties performed with general supervision.
