Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Follow Up Specialist accelerates cash flow and minimizes bad debt by proactively managing outstanding invoices.

Responsibilities

• Cover outstanding accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
• Review and analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and insurance companies to facilitate payment.
• Maintain accurate records of all follow-up activities and communications.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Proficient in using Epic software for billing and accounts management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Medicare/Medicaid billing experience (preferred).
