Job Summary

The Corporate Accounts Receivable department at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies is seeking customer service representatives to provide phone support for customers. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour, with potential for an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming calls to assist customers with making payments
  • Using incident and problem management systems to document, track, update, and close case activities
  • Providing technical assistance and guidance to prevent recurring problems with online accounts and bill pay
  • Performing basic hardware and software troubleshooting to resolve or escalate incidents
  • Making outbound calls to follow up with customers or incidents and resolving issues promptly and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate and professionally written records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Maintaining performance targets such as call handling time, customer satisfaction, and calls per day
  • Supporting internal and external audits and complying with company policies
  • Advising basic account information and payment status to callers
  • Directing calls to the appropriate department when necessary
  • Improving and developing technical support skills through outside education
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Performing other administrative functions as needed

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of prior call center customer service experience (preferred)
  • Prior help desk experience (preferred)

Qualifications

  • Attitude for excellence in customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems
  • Aptitude for technology and working knowledge of PCs and networks
  • Proficient in Microsoft® Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

Schedule

  • Training schedule: 7:30am - 4:15pm EST for 6-8 weeks
  • Shift hours after training: 10:15am - 7:00pm EST
  • Saturday rotation within 4-6 weeks with hours: 7:30am - noon EST
