Accounts Receivable

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our growing company. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will perform routine accounting tasks to support the daily operations of our accounting team. Under the direction of our Controller, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will assist in ensuring that payment is received for goods and services offered to our customers. Duties & Responsibilities Include Post customer payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions.Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly postedFacilitate payment of invoices by sending account statements and contacting customersVerify validity of account discrepancies and resolve any billing issues by communicating effectively both internally and externally.Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department Requirements High school diploma or equivalentFamiliarity with basic accounting proceduresCustomer service orientation Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environmentAttentive to detailsExcellent time management and communication skillsWillingness to learn and to grow with the company
