Accounts Receivable Assistant
About the Role
Join Great West, an Old Republic Company, as an Accounts Receivable Assistant and become an important part of a collaborative accounting team that keeps our business running smoothly. In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring cash receipts are recorded accurately and on time. You'll tackle daily balancing and reconciliation activities, generate reports, post journal entries, and help provide valuable financial information to company leaders. Responsibilities
- Ensure cash receipts are recorded accurately and on time
- Perform daily balancing and reconciliation activities
- Generate financial reports
- Post journal entries
- Provide valuable financial information to company leaders
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Accounting-related work experience
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning about the insurance industry
- Strong attention to detail and a knack for spotting discrepancies
- Comfort with technology and learning new systems
- Professionalism and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
