Accounts Payable Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the processing of vendor invoices through VIM, including researching inquiries, providing guidance for end-users on processing, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Assist with processing checks runs, wire, and ACH payments in a timely manner.
• Manage vendor relationships and research inquiries.
• Review, document, and improve departmental processes and procedures.
• Assist in training, developing, mentoring, and supervising the AP Team.
• Provide support and assistance for annual audit.
• Work on special projects as assigned by manager.
• Resolve issues in document handling and assist in resolution of issues.
• Assist with system upgrade testing and onboarding new entities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Accounts Payable experience, 1+ year in a supervisor position preferred.
• SAP experience required.
• VIM experience helpful.
• Ability to work as a hands-on team player.
• Strong relationship building and communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized in work.
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
