Responsibilities

  • Process invoices accurately and promptly through matching, batching, coding, and data entry to ensure costs are recorded correctly.
  • Communicate with various departments and management to confirm purchase approvals and swiftly resolve any arising issues.
  • Research and address payable discrepancies with vendors, review and process monthly credit card transactions, and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Review accounts payable entries for accuracy and ensure invoices are paid on time.
  • Perform other assigned duties that contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Requirements

  • A 2-year degree in Accounting or 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform functions efficiently and accurately with little direct supervision.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong communication skills.
  • A high degree of integrity and discretion in safeguarding confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
