Department: Finance | Availability: Immediate | Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday
About the role
Review incoming invoices for completeness, approval, and prior payment history. Enter invoice data into accounting software. Mail checks and file voucher copies with backup information for Finance and DDP departments. Process remittances where applicable. Assist DDP AP Associate with entering DDP invoice data into accounting software. Research statements, vendor inquiries, program inquiries, and payment issues.

Requirements
- High school graduate required; some college preferred, with emphasis in Finance/Accounting or at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate competency in computer software including Word and Excel
- Strategic thinker and effective decision maker
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple levels of operations
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environment
- Must complete Pennsylvania’s Child Protective Services Law clearances and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check
- Completion of a Pennsylvania-approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment
- Must understand and support the Mission of The Salvation Army
Pay
$23.10 per hour
