Job Description David Weekley Homes is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join the Accounting team at our Houston office near 610 & Katy Freeway. Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Process checks and electronic paymentsPrint checksRun back charge/return reportsReview checksSort for signatures and special handling requestsVerifying checks through the bank system; stop paymentVoid and reissue checksRun Positive Pay reports and submit to the bank dailyReview and process credit card transactionsReview and process electronic expense reportsRespond to internal and external customers questionsReview and enter invoicesCheck for required approvalsPO match in JDEMiscellaneous general & administrative (GAAP)Run SubPay and GAAP processesOther special projects (reconciliations, research, clean up, 1099 prep, tax clean up) Qualifications Minimum 5 years Accounts Payable or equivalent accounting experienceMicrosoft Excel experience and proficiency Ability to manage time and work effectively with high transactional volumeAccuracy and attention to detailSelf-starter, adaptable, excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, good listener, able to resolve customer/vendor issuesHigh level of integrity, energy and organizationTeam player with a positive, “willing to do whatever it takes” attitude Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
