Accounts Payable & Accounting Administration Intern (Summer 2027)

About the role
QC Servion is seeking an Accounts Payable & Accounting Administration Intern to support daily accounting operations across the QC Ecosystem. This internship provides practical exposure to vendor management, expense administration, accounts payable processes, financial recordkeeping, and accounting support activities. The intern will work directly with accounting professionals and business stakeholders to gain hands-on experience supporting the operational side of accounting within a growing professional services organization.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Accounting Administration (80%)
- Assist with vendor onboarding and documentation collection.
- Support maintenance of vendor records, W-9s, ACH forms, and compliance documents.
- Assist with invoice processing and expense report administration.
- Help monitor employee expense report submissions.
- Support employee and vendor accounting inquiries.
- Assist with data entry and accounting record maintenance.
- Help organize accounting documentation and electronic filing systems.
- Support expense audits and documentation reviews.
- General Accounting Support (20%)
- Assist with daily cash activity tracking and reporting.
- Support preparation of accounting schedules and reports.
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation gathering.
- Participate in process improvement and special projects.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing; Junior and Senior students preferred.
- Strong interest in accounts payable, accounting operations, or business administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Travel
Up to 5%, this may include travel to any or all 50 US states. Travel is defined as physically leaving home on behalf of business activities including but not limited to client sites, meetings with other employees, meetings for business development purposes, running errands on behalf of the business, attending industry conferences, etc.
Pay
The pay range for this role is $24 - $24 USD per hour.
