About the role
Responsible for managing customer accounts and achieving established levels of revenue and collection rates as directed by the Store Manager and general office by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Maintains complete knowledge of the castle plan and customer rental agreement.
- Maintains current knowledge of the accounts status of all rental customers.
- Develops and trains customers diligently to achieve on time payment habits.
- Explains the rental agreement to the customer in some cases.
- Delivers, installs, and picks-up products to and from the customer's home as needed in a safe and damage free manner.
- Retrieves products from the homes of customers who choose not to renew the rental agreement.
- Documents and receives customers payment successfully in the field and store.
- Performs preventative maintenance on delivery vehicles to ensure top safe operating condition.
- Operates the delivery vehicle safely, following all laws, regulations, and company procedures.
- Cleans returned products.
- Affords assistance to the store manager in controlling inventory.
- Affords assistance in receiving product into the store by following the proper inventory receiving and transfer procedures.
- Maintains records and documentation.
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Knowledge of word processing software, Ideal Software Systems, and PawnMaster Software.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid state motor vehicle license with evidence of safety and insurability.
