ACCOUNTING YIELD SUPERVISOR

Description POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT POSITION:Accounting Supervisor 1st Shift DEPARTMENT:Accounting LOCATION:Ottumwa SALARY CLASS: Exempt Responsibilities Review and finalize the daily yields to provide to management upon arrival in morning.Supervise yield and billing clerks.Recommend improvement to production reporting activities to ensure the most efficient and effective operations.Must meet local and corporate deadlines.Be able to handle multiple tasks timely and efficiently.Able to cover accounting jobs when needed.Perform various other tasks as needed to ensure efficiency in the accounting departmentOther duties as needed. Relationships Internal: Employees on the production line and plant management. Special Skills Strong leadership and managerial skills.Strong organizational skills.Strong work history 10-key and computer skills required.Strong communication skills.Previous accounting and office experience preferred.College degree preferred.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally in EnglishExcellent conflict resolution skillsComputer knowledge required (Must have working knowledge of Excel and Word.)Ability to work 50+ hoursGood attendance record(Less than3points, for internal candidates) Education High School degree or equivalent required, or equivalent combination of education and experience Position is not eligible for sponsorship of external candidates.
