Accounting & Transaction Advisory - Senior Associate

About the Role

Our client is a large, established Advisory firm that have placed significant capital behind their Accounting & Transaction Advisory sector expansion this year. If you've got a Public Accounting background, but want to expand that knowledge & experience with a firm devoted to developing & progressing their people, this ones for you. Whether you're an External Auditor, with strong Financial Statement experience, or a current Deals/FDD/TAS professional who is a Databook whiz, this firm should be on your radar.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred - will accept those who are in process
• 3+ years of experience within Audit, Assurance, Advisory or Deals/FDD, within a Public Accounting firm (Big 4/Top 10 preferred)
• Experience with large, Public filers (Audit/Assurance) & High Value Transactions (Deals/FDD)
• High degree of professionalism required- including the ability to communicate with C-Suite level individuals
• Self starter, who can thrive as an Individual Contributor, or in a team-based environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, FASB & SEC/ASC rules and standards
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing technological environments (AI, RPA etc.)

Travel

Ability to travel for engagements up to 50% annually (reality around ~30%)
