Accounting Supervisor

About the Role

The Accounting Supervisor leads settlement and operations accounting for gas gathering pipeline and storage assets, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise accounting staff, review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end closes
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes
• Interpret accounting standards, provide guidance, and analyze financial data for management decisions
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors
• Support regulatory filings
• Drive process automation and improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting systems
• Experience leading teams, analyzing financial data, and applying accounting standards
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

Work Environment

Sedentary role primarily indoors, involving computer use, with occasional walking, climbing, and manual dexterity. Hybrid work setup with in-office and remote days.

Pay

Salary range: $97,000–$145,000
