Accounting Program Manager, Digital Finance & Business Integration
This position supports and can directly influence the launches of Amazon MGM Studios' newest global business initiatives. The Accounting Program Manager will work closely with the global financial systems team, accounting operations teams, tax, treasury, and other stakeholders to represent the accounting organization.

In this role, you will be part of a team that collaborates with business finance and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and flexible solutions. You will operate in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment, requiring strong oral and written communication skills, quantitative analysis, problem-solving, and the ability to scope business requirements and prioritize tasks.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage lifecycle activities for multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, requirements gathering, technology team partnerships, UAT planning and performance, project closing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead automation projects to design processes and tools that improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial statement processes.
- Support Amazon’s business expansion by ensuring controlled processes are implemented to maintain material correctness in financial statements.
- Act as a consultant to partner with diverse stakeholder teams across Amazon.
- Make empowered, impactful decisions to drive projects to completion.
- Collaborate with Amazonians of diverse backgrounds to tackle unusually complex challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Deep experience in accounting, program management, and financial systems.
- Experience with financial processes, project management, accounting requirements documentation, process design, and user acceptance testing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams in accomplishing complex challenges.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency.
- Experience with GAAP research tools and the FASB codification.
- Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients.
- Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.
- 5+ years of experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
Pay
- USA, CA, Culver City: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, MA, Boston: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, OR, Portland: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
- USA, TN, Nashville: $85,900.00 - $146,900.00 USD annually
- USA, TX, Austin: $95,400.00 - $163,200.00 USD annually
