Accounting Practitioner

About the role

Next 150 Construction, a fully owned subsidiary of Gilbane Building Company, is seeking an Accounting Practitioner to partner with our accounting team and perform basic manual and computer-related accounting tasks. This role is primarily office-based.

Responsibilities

• Scan AP invoices
• Process payments, invoices, and vouchers
• Extract specified information or add appropriate standard coding and attachments to documents
• Compile simple summaries of information relating to documents processed
• Manage timesheet collection, approval, and other payroll-related items
• Locate and extract information from files and records as requested
• Perform simple arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) manually or using a calculator
• Assist Senior Accounting Practitioner under close supervision

Requirements

• Entry-level: 0-1 year of experience
• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word

Pay

The pay range is $52,000.00–$75,000.00, determined by factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and experience, as well as internal equity and team alignment.
