WHO WE ARE:

We are an end-to-end Renewable Energy provider. We offer products to commercial and enterprise clients in EV Charging solutions, Fleet Electrification, Solar Microgrids, and Energy storage. Our company handles the entire flow of providing these products and services beginning with Sales, Provisioning, Design and Engineering, Contracting and Construction.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in managing the financial activities of the organization, overseeing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making for the group.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team's effectiveness and professional growth.
  • Manage AP, AR and bookkeeping priorities for the team.
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
  • Ensure the year-end audit is clean and timely.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities.
  • Supports budget and forecasting activities.
  • Advise staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
  • Responds to inquiries from the CEO, Dr. of Finance, and other finance and company managers regarding financial results, and special reporting requests.
  • Maintains a high level of accuracy while developing and implementing new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
  • Support management with special projects and workflow process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in accounting
  • Construction or manufacturing accounting experience preferred
  • Experience in navigating through complex technical accounting matters is a must
  • Prior experience managing general ledger and accrual accounting
  • Current CPA license preferred

Requirements:

  • Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced workplace
  • Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel and general AI tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and organization skills
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills required
  • Able to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines required
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state laws required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and tax law required
  • Strong work ethic and confidentiality skills required

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, type, and write
  • Reach with hands and arms, bend, stand on a stool or climb, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Use standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, printers, photocopiers, Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Lift files and open desk drawers and filing cabinets
